Download and Install LoadRunner 12.53 Community Edition which comes with free 50 vUsers for life.
Step 1 - Locate where to Get Started in order to download HPE LoadRunner Community Edition:
- Use any internet browser and navigate to https://saas.hpe.com/en-us/download/loadrunner
Step 2 - Sign Up and Log In

Click on HP LoadRunner 12.53 Community Edition.
The Sign Up form appears.

If you have NOT signed up previously, click on Sign up.

Fill out the form and press SIGN UP.
Check your email message pops up.

Check the Email and Click on Confirm Email
New MyAccount sign in page opens.

Fill out the form and Click Sign In to start the trial:

Getting Started Popup message appears with What’s New! Page. Click on X to close the Popup message.
Step 3 - Explore and Download HP Community Edition Installer.

From Explore select and Click on LoadRunner.

The LoadRunner link takes you to download page. Click on Green Download Now Button.

Click on Next.

Click on GO TO MYACCOUNT.

Click Download in the list of products.

Click on HP LoadRunner 12.53 Community Edition HP_LoadRunner_12.53_Community_Edition_HPLR_1253_Community_Edition.zip.
The above message appears and Download begins
Step 4 - Explore and Download HP LoadRunner 12.53 Community Edition Additional Components installer.

Click the browser back button from the Download Confirmation.

Click on HP LoadRunner 12.53 Community Edition Additional Components to download file

Step 5 - Unzip LoadRunner 12.53 Community Edition Main Installer Zip

Navigate to your Downloads folder.

Double Click on the HP_LoadRunner_12.53_Community_Edition_HPLR_1253_Community_Edition.zip. Folder to unzip it.

Click on Extract all files.

Click on Extract.
Step 6 - Unzip LoadRunner 12.53 Community Edition Additional Components Installer Zip

Navigate to your Downloads folder.

Double Click on the HPE_LoadRunner_12.53_Community_Edition_Additional_Components_HPLR_1253_Community_Edition_Additional_Components folder to unzip it.

Click on Extract all files.

Click on Extract.
Step 7 - Install LoadRunner 12.53 Community Edition

Double Click on the unzipped folder HPE_LoadRunner_12.53_Community_Edition_HPLR_1253_Community_Edition

Double Click on HP LoadRunner 12.53 Community Edition.exe.

If User Account Control dialog opens, click on Yes.
-
Click on Install.
Installation in Progress.

Click OK to install Microsoft Visual C ++ 2015 Redistributable.
Starts installing Microsoft Visual C ++ 2015 Redistributable

Click Next.
-
Accept the terms in the License Agreement by checking the Box and Click on Install.
LoadRunner installation begins. Be patient it takes quiet a long time.
HP Authentication Settings opens.

Uncheck default Specify a certificate that will be used by the LoadRunner agent. Click Next.
-
Click on Finish.
-
LoadRunner License Utility opens. Click on Close.
-
LoadRunner Readme file opens.
HPE Network Virtualization Setup starts.
-
After HPE Network Virtualization Setup is completes, Click on Finish.
-
Click on Restart Later.
Note: You can restart your computer after installing the additional components
Step 8 - Install LoadRunner 12.53 Community Edition Additional Components

Navigate to your Downloads folder.

Double Click on HPE_LoadRunner_12.53_Community_Edition_Additional_Components_HPLR_1253_Community_Edition_Additional_Componentsunzip ped folder.

Double Click on HP LoadRunner 12.53 Community Edition - Additional Components.exe
-
If the User Account Control dialog pops up, click Yes (not the default).
-
Click on Install.
Additional Components Installation starts and completes the Installation.
Step 9 - Restart Computer
- Restart Your Computer.
