System Requirements

Operating System

NeoLoad is written in Java and should run on any platform supporting Java 8. NeoLoad software supports the following operating systems:

  • Windows Vista
  • Windows 7 (x86 and x64)
  • Windows 8.X (x86 and x64)
  • Windows 10
  • Windows Server 2008 (x64)
  • Windows Server 2012 (x64)
  • Windows Server 2012 R2 (x64)
  • Linux x86-x64 (Kernel 2.6 and 3.0.x) tested on Debian 6 and 7, CentOS 5.6, 6.4 and 7, Ubuntu 12.04, 12.10 and 14, RedHat 7, OpenSuse 13
  • OS X (10.9 Mavericks and 10.10 Yosemite)

Disk Space

For the complete NeoLoad Installation: 500 MB disk space available. For Installing Monitoring Agent only : 300 MB disk space available.

CPU and Memory

A minimum of 1024 MB system memory is recommended.

Step 1 — Download the NeoLoad Free Edition

NeoLoad Free Edition comes with FREE Load Testing for up to 50 concurrent Virtual Users.Enjoy.. Follow the steps below to download NeoLoad.

  1. Navigate to the URL http://go.neotys.com/NeoLoad-Free-Edition-Download.html

  2. Fill out the form and Click on Download.

    Note: It will navigate to the URL Page http://www.neotys.com/neoload/download-confirmation and will download your free license. Which will be have .lic extension.

  3. If the license does not download automatically then Click on Big Orange DOWNLOAD LICENSE button.

Note: Save the License in the safe place. You will need this later.

Step 2 — Install NeoLoad

  1. Click on the installer link according to your operating system you are using. In my case I have Windows 64 bit so I will be clicking on NeoLoad Windows Installer (64 bits).

  1. After the installer is downloaded, click on drop down arrow and select and click Show in folder.

  2. Right Click and Click Run As Administrator. Note: Click Yes for User Account Control.

  6. Select I accept the agreement and select Next.

  7. Select default Controller (recommended) and Click Next.

  8. Click next for default destination or choose the desire destination and Click next. In our case let us select the default destination.

  10. Click Next for WAN Emulation driver installation screen.

  1. Click Finish.

Step 3 — Invoke NeoLoad and manage License Key.

1 . Once installed, Invoke NeoLoad. You will see a Missing License dialogue box. Select Enter a License Key and click Ok. Click on Enter a license key and select the license file that you downloaded in Step 1.
